Holy sheeeet

Who gives a cr*p?

Hey there!

Writing this week’s issue from a beautiful resort in Ibiza. It’s such a nice island and would recommend everyone to go there that hasn’t been there before.

Before we start I wanted to tell you we’ve just dropped 25 new Canva + Figma templates at Creative Donut with pack 3. If you have tried volumes 1 and 2 you know how valuable they are and 750+ people are already using them every week.

If you’ve already tried them, go take 30% OFF with code VOLUME3NL.

P.S. If you haven’t tried any of the 75 templates, you can also use the above code on the bundle 😉

HUEL

Simplicity. 25G Plant-Based Protein. The main value prop Huel is trying to bring across here. Probably a lot of people in their funnel are just looking for a plant-based protein and this is what they are offering.

Visually this ad gets it right too for me. Simple and has everything you need to communicate. The only element is some social proof, but the ad copy could also cover this.

The only objection for this product could be taste, how are people going to believe this plant-based protein tastes nice, from experience I haven’t found one so far and I think a lot of people into plant-based proteins struggle to find a good tasting one.

Stars + Honey

Love this collage from Stars and Honey. P.S. it’s also included in the new Frosted Files Templates Volume 3 right here 😉 .

This brand wants to position themselves as a high-end protein bar. Not necessarily competing on price. They focus a lot on the expensive taste and the fact that it has added benefits like high protein, 10g collagen and 2g in sugar.

The visuals are appealing, someone eating the product (visualise the end customer eating the product) and a very high end shot of the bars so people can almost smell them from the screen lol.

Holy Sheet

Selling toilet paper. Well sheet, that’s a tough one. It wipes your but and what else…

I think Holy Sheet. They seem to outperform the competition pretty well. The only thing they probably won’t compete with is store-bought toilet paper, but they are not competing with them selling online DTC. This comparison static does it right.

Basically, this ad comes down to, what can it do for the end user, the planet and the end user’s wallet. Very well executed as this audience is a very eco-friendly audience and this resonates really well with them.
