Gearing up for 2024?

Use these ads to have a b*nging Q1

Hey there!

Can you feel the Christmas vibes? It’s definitely getting a lot colder here in Europe, freezing my tits of here 🥶

On the ad side of things, we’re definitely gearing up with holiday angles, gifting angles and prepping our Q1-heavy clients for an amazing start of 2024.

If you’re seeing lower performance, it makes sense, your product might not be the best gifting product or people are not shopping around for a product you offer. It’s 100% normal and you have to look at customer behaviour and zoom out. You’ll make up for it in Q1 😉 

But let’s get down to business, I missed last week’s issue so I am bringing the heat with some amazing ads this week!

Headway

Talking about Q1 angles. This is a great ad from Headway to promote their app which offers book summaries to encourage people to start reading more and read a book a day within 15 minutes.

The headline immediately says “New Year Challenge” to appeal to people looking to pick up good habits going into 2024. Then it shows all kinds of book titles for every day of the month.

The good part is the bottom of the image, they highlighted a lot of popular books like Rich Dad Poor Dad and The 5 Am Club. Also looking at the highlighted books I assume this ad is targeted towards a female audience also based on the women used in the ad.

Motion

What a way to start your 2024. Managing your schedule better. Trust me, apps like Motion will be making bank going into mid-December and January. Everyone wants to better themselves in this period and it doesn’t come as a surprise that these SAAS brands are running a lot of ads.

This is a great example of an ad that plays into consumer behaviour during this period. With everyone knowing something about AI and having a packed schedule with no room for anything, people will stop and think; wait this is me…

The ad is very simple but sometimes a picture with some strong headlines says more than a thousand words.

Great ad and something every SAAS in the time management space should lean towards trying.

Nibble

Another great SAAS business pushing for people to change their (bad) habits into 2024. I love the scrolling addiction as I think this will resonate with a lot of people facing issues mindlessly scrolling on their phones.

The ad follows a testimonial from a customer who makes it seem very easy to beat their addiction with just 5 minutes per day of playing, the word playing here is very important as it is so low barrier and for most people playing is something they can do easily like playing a little game on their phone.

The background image is great too, it shows a calm guy with flowers in his head illustrating the calmness. The image pops really well and would stop me during scrolling as well.
